As a mom of two kids, the most stressful time of the year is the end of school. Thinking about all that needs to get done in such a short period of time brings plenty of stress into my home. As if that’s not enough, the other shoe soon drops when everything from the entire year of school gets brought home. The papers, artwork, school supplies, clothes from gym since September, locker belongings, and several enormously oversized poster projects covered in glitter – all of it. I get a headache just thinking about it!

I know my house is clean and neat, until that clutter disaster I call June rears its ugly head. Am I the only mom who feels overwhelmed at this time each year? I doubt it.

I don’t like a mess on my kitchen counters and I hate the thought of a dirty dish sitting in the kitchen sink overnight. In my home, everything has a place. Clutter doesn’t exist.  For me, clutter doesn’t just take up space in my head – clutter takes up space in my mind. If you aren’t organized on the outside, chances are you aren’t all that organized on the inside.

Being organized is a critical step to a stress-free, successful life. That’s why I spend my nights cleaning the dishes that are in the sink, putting work files and papers where they belong, and making sure that laundry sitting in the basket gets folded and put away. Then when I need inspiring innovation and a boost to my energy level, I turn to Ellia Essential Oils. In fact, the crisp scent of Ellia’s Get Going is exactly what I need to calm my mind, my body, and my soul. It’s the perfect way to get through any stressful time.

September is right around the corner, and school is about to start again. Thank goodness I’ll have Ellia right there with me to help take the edge off.
